Creative Cutting Challenge: Anything goes

For this challenge I used the purse from the

I turned the purse into a gift card holder.
First I made it large enough to hold a gift card,
next I duplicated that piece of the pattern, flipped it
and welded the two together so it would open,
then I added some openings to insert the card.

After I put it all together I added a small velcro dot
to hold it all together.

I used the St. Patrick's Day set by
Creative Pointe, found at the

I took 2 borders and welded them together and
used Make The Cut Software to turn them into a
Cupcake wrap. I also cut the shamrock and glued it to a
toothpick to make a cupcake topper.

Welcome to Scraps to Treasures Challenge

Welcome to Scraps to Treasures Challenge ~~ Babies Galore!!

4 years ago we had a baby shower for my brother in law and sister in law. I
made invitations for the event, and I held onto all the scraps from making them.
I had purchased wood letters that spell my nephew's name but had never done
anything with them until recently. I was lucky because I easily located the
scraps from the project several years ago. I am also including a
photo of the invitation.

Here is his name, all painted and decorated with the scraps
from all his shower decorations. I hand cut each letter from the
paper and used Mod Podge to attach the paper, then inked
the edges of the paper before sealing it all with more Mod Podge.
Noah will love this as soon as I take it over to him!

Here is one of the invitations, I made
several all with the same paper line.

Be sure to hop on over to Scraps to Treasures and link up your project for a chance to win a RAK.

Thanks for stopping by!

Christmas in a non traditional way 14-1

Week 14-1

Use some Christmas paper in a non-traditional way. This week the Design Team is using Bazzill Basic Paper Believe collection to create with.

Here is what I came up with: a quick and easy thank you card.

I used the Believe paper shown above with the following Paper Smooches items: Chit Chat stamp set, Notebook Scallop die, and Whimsical stamp set along with Bazzil cardstock.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Cuttin' and Stampin' Scrappy Supplies Facebook Store Believe album has the paper and stickers available for purchase.

Now it's your turn to have some fun and create a project using Christmas Paper in a Non-Christmas way. You have until January 13, 2013 to enter your projects HERE.
