I am so excited! This is my first post as part of the
design team for My Life in Arts' n Crafts!
Such a great place to find all kinds of
fun embellishments!
So I wanted to do something different
for my first project...
Here it is:
I set up a cutting file in my Silhouette software to
cut the holes I put the brads in. I then used the Caribbean
and Charcoal twine to twist around the brads
to make my butterfly. The patterned paper is from
Imaginise. The white card stock was in my stash.
I stamped the sentiment using the
Hand Scripted from a muse studio.
I will be using this as a birthday card for my
daughter who will be 13 on Friday.
Please head over to the My Life in Arts' n Crafts blog
and see everyone's projects and check out the store
for all your twine and embellishing needs!
Thanks!

ReplyDeleteCongratulations my talented friend. Where did you get the pattern to know where to cut the holes for the brads?
ReplyDeleteI found a template for string art, I imported the template into my Silhouette software. I placed small circles on the nail spots and added a few additional spots to make it look the way I wanted.
