October Fest Day 2

Isn't October wonderful! Crisp apples picked fresh from
the tree, warm apple cider to warm your tummy on a
frosty night, leaves of gold, red, brown fluttering to the
ground. October is a wonderful time of year and this
hop is a celebration of October and all the colors, smells,
sights and sounds it has to offer. Hop along with our
Krazy Crafting Crew as they show you their take on
October and what it is for them.
If you happen to stumble upon this hop you can begin
hopping at our host blog for this month: Jearise of Lorby's World
She has a special give away for you on her blog.
If you came from Cicily's blog you are on the right track.

We also have a special sponsor:
Scrapbook Stamp Society

They would love to reward one special blog visitor with
a prize from their store. To be qualified for their drawing, please
comment on all participating blogs and let them know you have.

You can receive extra entries for following them on Facebook
and for commenting on the Scrapbook Stamp Society blog

Now onto my next October project!
Who does not think of Halloween
when they hear October?
I made this fun card using 1/2 of the cauldron from
SVGcuts Party on Elm Street cutting patterns.
Then I added a little twine and glued the cauldron
to the front of my card. I put a pen in my Cameo and
wrote Happy Halloween to fit inside of a small
frame I had in my stash. Once it was done, it was
ready to be filled with candy for someone special!

Thank you for stopping by today and please continue
on to Paula's blog to see her October creation!

Be sure to check back next month to see what
the Krazy Crafting Crew is up to!

    1. I did the writing on black cardstock, glues the frame over it and cut the edges.
      So pretty easy...

  3. EEEK, Cameo -- white pen!? I didn't think of it for my white pen faux stitching or lettering. Now I am going to have to experiment!! Thank you for sharing, I think!

    1. I use a pen/pencil grip on the pen, then insert into the blade holder with a popsicle stick under to space it properly. I got the grips at wal mart. They are clear/colorful, hope that helps.
