Scraps To Treasures teams September Bookmark Swap hop

Welcome tothe Scraps To Treasures teams September
Bookmark Swap hop. If you arrived here from Jearise’s blog
you are in the right place. If you just happened to
“open the book” to my chapter MzLavr2's Creations
please start at Chapter 1 which is Jessi’s blog.

This month our group of frugally fantastic crafters
have made bookmarks for each other. Weare excited to
share this fun idea will all of our readers. If you want to try
this and do not have a large group of friends to do a swap
like this, you can do it with just 2 or 3 people.

Our wonderful sponsor for this hop is My Creative Time!
They are giving away this wonderful stamp set.

Be sure to comment on EACH blog for BOTH days
to be entered into the drawing!
Also be sure to follow any instructions on each
blog for any fun goodies they may be givingaway!

Here are the bookmarks I made to share with my friends

These are all made from scraps, of course you all knew that.
I found this cute little girl with an umbrella and I
knew I wanted to make them into bookmarks.
I added a shadow layer around the girl, then I drew a
rectangle and merged the 2 shapes together to make the
cloudy sky area. I added the raindrops so they would
cut out of the clouds. I then made a shadow layer to back the
book mark, that became the color of the raindrops. The girl
with the umbrella is from the Silhouette Studio store.

I am giving away this cute umbrella stamp to 1 lucky
commenter. You need to follow my blog to enter.
I would love it if you would check out my Facebook page too!

Thanks so much for skimming through our “book” the next chapter

bookmarks can be found:
