Caged bird Happy Birthday

Sharing with you what I think may be my all time favorite birthday card I have made... I started with this weeks freebie Bird Cage, and added the birds from the KISS Spring patterns. All found at
The first thing I did was place the bird cage and flourish together on my screen. I then made a shadow layer/offset (varies depending on what program you use.) Next I made a duplicate of the offset. I flipped it the other direction and moved the 2 flat sides back to back. Then I welded the 2 together to make the card base. Then I cut all the pieces out and assembled. I placed the birds from KISS spring on the card first. Than placed the cage over them. Followed by adding the flourish, flowers and rhinestones. The final step was to add the bow on top and the Happy Birthday. I cut it as a straight line, but placed each letter along the flourish. I hope you enjoy!
